STEP 1 

• Lay 2 white sheets on the floor and place one foot on each.​

• If possible, ask someone to help you trace your footprints, since you must be standing with your feet flat on the ground.

• Draw the outline of your feet keeping the pencil straight, that is, you should not tilt it to enter the finger cavities. Try to do your best to make a single stroke when drawing the contour of the longest toe and the contour of the heel, as well as the contour of both sides of the metatarsal, because if you make several strokes, it will be difficult to know the exact measurements. Remember that in footwear, millimeters are very important (see images).

STEP 3

• Draw a straight line from the longest toe to the midpoint of the heel.

• Then draw a straight line across the metatarsal, from the big toe bone to the little toe bone (view image).

• NOTE: It is important to take measures of both feet, since we usually have one foot larger than the other.

STEP 3

• Measure both lines with a ruler and write down the measurements in centimeters.
